Done for my computer art class. We had to choose something to satirize, kinda like photoshop phriday does on SomethingAwful. I chose Twilight because -- let's face it, the fanbase needs to learn how to laugh at itself.

Yes, I realize I switched tenses at the end of the summary on the back cover. That was changed on the version I turned in and I could have sworn I sent that version to myself for uploading.

Wonky.

Anyway, I did not photomanipulate the original cover. All the artwork on the book, itself, was done wholly in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop. I drew the picture, then painted in PS7. The text was all done in PS7 after downloading a couple fonts. The book onto which it is all superimposed is a photo, however, because we had to make it look like an actual product. Everything else I reproduced by hand. Even the barcode is fake (notice that it counts 0 through 10).

Now, before you take offense, just bear in mind that this is supposed to be a parody that reflects some of my opinions and the opinions of several others. All fanbases are made fun of; it's a fact of life when you're a fan, but the only fanbases that DESERVE to be taken seriously are the ones that have a sense of humor about themselves.
